Green E-Board is a better environmental alternative and upgrade to replace gypsum drywall and cement backer boards for walls, floors and countertops.Â It is manufactured with patent pending proprietary process of natural mineral products including magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride. The manufacturing process for Green E-Board consumes less than 50% of the energy required to make a Portland cement based product. When Green E-Board is sized, excess material is saved and recycled into the future production runs. 100% of the post-industrial waste created during manufacture is recycled. Green E-Board also contains a minimum of 5% post-consumer waste material.

Green E-Board has a natural resistance to the growth of mold and mildew, without the addition of toxic chemicals. Green E-Board also contains no silica, no asbestos, no VOCs, so it is safe to install and safe for the end-user. Because of these features Green E-Board contributes to USGBC LEED point for indoor air quality. Green E-Board also contributes to USGBC LEED points for durability (lifespan) and recyclability. Because the primary components of Green E-Board are all natural, it can be recycled as construction fill with no negative impact on the environment. Green E-Board can also be recycled through a re-manufacturing process.
